More Helpful Information

We make a concentrated effort to collect all of your insurance information prior to your first visit. Insurance information can be emailed or scanned to our office at krussdds@gmail.com. Please include subscriber's name; group #; subscriber ID #; and insurance telephone number and birthdate of patient and subscriber. This is all pertinent information which is required by insurance companies to verify coverage eligibility and benefits. Any questions can be referred to our administrative staff.

X-Rays Needed:
To prepare for your upcoming new patient appointment, we ask that you have your latest X-rays emailed to the following: krussdds@gmail.com. We would like the latest full mouth series, bitewings, and/or panorex. We request these by email because of the quality of the X-ray for diagnosis and repetition of films. If you should have any questions regarding this request, please call our office.

New Patients:
Our protocol for new patient appointments include:

Full mouth series of X-rays that enables us to provide a comprehensive oral exam by Dr. Russell and periodontal evaluation for gum disease by the hygienist. The periodontal evaluation is at no charge and is a prerequisite to any cleaning in our office. The cleaning will be scheduled after we determine the type of cleaning you will need once we record our data. Please be aware that we will make every attempt to schedule the cleaning appointment as soon as possible after the initial appointment. We have the legal responsibility to make you aware of any evidence of gum disease, just like any other disease. Ignoring gum disease is detrimental to your overall health, and we, as health professionals, have the responsibility of informing our patients of any evidence of periodontal disease as well as educating them on the treatment needed. New patient appointments last about 90 minutes, once all forms are filled and necessary documentation is completed.

Enter your contact information and preferred appointment date, then click "Send Info." Our staff will contact you soon to schedule an appointment.
