Bonding

“Bond” with Your Teeth

This fast and painless procedure repairs cracks, chips, and gaps between teeth as well as improves the appearance of stained teeth. This treatment does not require anesthesia if there’s no decay or pulp exposure. At Kenneth R. Russell D.D.S., P.A., we use tooth bonding for the following reasons:
  • Protect exposed roots of teeth
  • Repair cracks, unevenness, chips
  • Close spaces between your front teeth
  • Reshape crooked or misshapen teeth
  • Replace old or unattractive silver fillings
  • Whiten stained teeth
  • Replace missing teeth
  • Stabilize loose teeth
A tooth-colored composite resin is bonded to the tooth for an improved appearance. Bonding is a versatile and quick procedure; in fact, it can be done in just one visit! Unlike veneers, there’s no customization or manufacturing in a laboratory required. Once the composite resin is bonded to your tooth, we will shape it accordingly and finish with a polish.
The resin is then hardened and polished to a natural finish.
