Dental Dentures

At Kenneth R. Russell D.D.S., P.A., we use dentures to replace missing teeth as well as improve our patients’ oral health and appearance. Dentures are most common in older patients who have missing teeth due to tooth decay, an injury, or gum disease. No matter how old you might be or why you are missing teeth, we can treat all good candidates for dentures.

What are dentures? They are removable appliances that look and feel like your natural teeth. Unlike dental implants, they are not surgically positioned into the jawbone beneath the gum lime. Although that’s a more permanent solution, it’s also more costly and only recommended for certain patients.
Dentures are made using an impression of your mouth and gums for the perfect fit. They might take some getting used to; however, once they adjust to your mouth and you to them, you’ll feel even more comfortable wearing them.

Why Dentures?

  • Improve appearance
  • Prevent facial muscles from sagging
  • Improve ability to eat and speak normally
  • Replace some or all missing teeth
  • Protect remaining teeth from excess wear
Wear your dentures loud and proud! You can eat with them, drink with them, speak with them, and do everything you used to be able to with a full mouth of teeth. To learn if you’re a good candidate for complete or partial dentures, give us a call today.
